WEAR YOUR MASKS! is a photo book consisting of 57 B&W film photographs taken in the neighborhoods of Eagle Rock and Hollywood at the height of the pandemic. It documents the work of MZRE, a Los Angeles graffiti artist whose horror-movie-themed posters would spring up overnight only to be torn down or painted over just as rapidly.
Included within the book is a QR code to a three-minute video documentary I made on the creator of the WYM! posters.

Photography has been a hobby for over twenty years. For most of that time, it was a dream of mine to construct my own home darkroom. That has finally happened, and to celebrate the release of WEAR YOUR MASKS! – my very first photo book – I have done a very limited run of three different images from the book. Each was printed in my home darkroom in Highland Park, Los Angeles, CA.
No.1 – PROPANE 8 x 10″, Glossy Fibre, unmounted (five prints made, individually numbered)
No. 2 – EXPERIENCE 8 x 10″, Matte Fibre, unmounted (five prints made, individually numbered)
No. 3 – TAGALOG 8 x 10″, Glossy Fibre, unmounted (five prints made, individually numbered)
